TouchstoneEnergy partners with Avant Energy to deliver Financial Management

TouchstoneEnergy, the global business systems and IT consultancy dedicated to the energy sector, today announced that Avant Energy has gone live with its new integrated financial accounting and management information system. The system will provide the financial controls necessary to support Avant’s $200 million investment in SUPERA, their midstream asset project.

Avant Energy is registered in the USA and Mexico. Avant is dedicated to providing midstream transportation by pipeline, rail, barge, tanker and truck; with storage, and wholesale marketing of crude and refined petroleum products. Their main business activities include oil, gas and liquids, transport, storage and distribution, as well as electricity supply.

As part of the $200 million SUPERA midstream asset project, Avant will build a network of terminals to supply refined petroleum products from the Port of Altamira, Tamaulipas to the Bajio region of North-Central Mexico.

Avant chose Infor SunSystems for Finance to include a fully integrated GL, AP, AR and Cash Management function; with real-time integration to Allegro ETRM trading platform. Infor SunSystems also controls sales invoice generation with seamless output to the selected PAC. This ensures compliance with Mexican SAT regulations for both electronic invoicing and reporting. The solution supports full multi-currency and multi-entity accounting, electronic payments as well as management and statutory reporting.
